  1. Public debt and economic growth: empirical evidence from South Africa by Mbali, Andiswa

    Published 2022
“…To achieve the research objective, this study uses the time series technique, namely, the autoregressive distributed lag (ARDL) bounds testing approach of cointegration test and the Granger causality approach to test the causal relationship between variables. Analysis of variance decomposition and impulse response functions are used to illustrate the proportions of movements of variables due to its own shock relative to other variables by shocking one standard deviation. …”

  5. Dynamics of co-behaviour of climate processes over Southern Africa by Quagraine, Kwesi Akumenyi

    Published 2021
“…This methodology is evaluated in the context of southern African regional climate using three key processes, namely ENSO, AAO and Inter-tropical Convergence Zone (ITCZ), and characterizations of regional circulation, and temperature and rainfall variability. Analysis of co-behaviour under observed conditions identifies results that concur with prior studies, in particular the dominant regional response to ENSO, but also establishes key examples of co-behaviour such as the role of the AAO in moderating and altering the regional response to ENSO which is important for understanding regional climate variability. …”

  6. SALT and TESS monitoring of central stars of planetary nebulae by Bonokwane, Kelebogile

    Published 2021
“…The quantitative variability analysis excludes short orbital period binary systems, suggesting that if their multiple features are due to binary interactions, the most likely case is the long orbital period range. …”
