| Summary: | The study aims to identify Critical Success Factors (CSFs) and their relationships in Ethiopian export-oriented agro-processing projects, using an Interactive Qualitative Analysis methodology (IQA). The CSFs identified and discussed in the study include Quality and Continuous Supply of Raw Material, Availability of Transportation Infrastructure and Systems, Sufficient Storage Capacity for Raw Material, State of the Art Capital Goods, Quality Intermediate Goods, Available Skilled Labour, Availability of Credit, Large Processing Capacity, Favourable Foreign Trade Policy, Sufficient Working Capital, Advanced Market Intelligence on Trends, Competition, and Industry. Furthermore, the study identifies the (cause and effect) relationship between the identified Critical Success Factors (CSFs) and creates System Influence Diagram (SID) to demonstrate this relationship. This research paper presents significant recommendations for developing future export-oriented agro-processing projects based on the findings. |
