This study focused on Foundation Phase teachers' pedagogical and content knowledge. It investigated the impact that a geometry course (Shape and Space), had on the teachers levels of understanding of Shape and Space. The course was conducted over 5 days. A literature search revealed a few different tools in designing the course, the majority of which referred to either Van Hiele or Hoffer.
