This shock absorber factory is consciously structured as a ""new workplace"" where the focus in productio is on ""flexible specializatio"" that allows quick shifts to be made between product lines where the focus in the social relations of work is on devolution of responsibility to individual employees and sells as organizational units of labour, interchangeable tasks and enlarged scope for workers to participate in decision making.
